A Commitment to Regional Sustainability
MORPC’s Sustainable2050 program supports our members’ sustainability efforts through direct assistance, collaboration, and recognition. The program is directly tied to the goals and objectives of the Regional Sustainability Agenda, a framework for members and regional partners to work toward common goals:
- Improve air quality and reduce climate change impacts
- Protect and restore natural resources
- Advance healthy, connected, and safe communities
- Advance sustainable and equitable economic growth and development
- Create communities that are aware, prepared, and resilient to climate impacts
Certification
Sustainable2050 members can attain elevated levels of recognition through tier status certification at the bronze, silver, gold, and platinum levels. The certification level is based on the points earned from completing eligible activities aligned with the Regional Sustainability Agenda.
